Le confucianisme a eu un fort impact sur la culture, la psychologie et l'éthique des chinois et d'autres peuples des pays voisins, y compris au Vietnam. Confucius a été honoré comme “l'Enseignant de dix mille générations”. Le Temple de la littérature à Hanoi a été érigé en 1070 par les souverains Ly sur ce modèle. Une Académie nationale a été ajoutée au Temple en 1076. Elle a été transformée en Collège National qui est resté à Hanoi jusqu'en 1807 où il a été transféré à Hué. En partie détruit par la Guerre, le Temple a été reconstruit en 1954. |
