English: WWI-era postcard (dated 30 April 1916) showing emperors Wilhelm and Franz Joseph with the motto "In Treue Fest" ( JN TREUE FEST , "steadfast in loyalty"), the motto of the kingdom of Bavaria.

The German motto is given in Hungarian, Czech and Polish translation on the back:

In Treue fest. — Szilárd hűségben. — Věrní spojenci. — W wiernem przymierzu.

The text of the postcard is a simple greeting, Liebe Grüße sendet Dir [?]Wabi.

it is dated Mittersill am 30. 4. 16. and addressed to one Frl. Irma Steiner, Arzenstochter in Neukirchen , Pinzgaw i.e. it was sent over a distance of less than 20 km within the Duchy of Salzburg (in Austria-Hungary since 1867, formerly part of the kingdom of Bavaria).
