Outer casing in gray plastic. Removable cover on the top for access to the print head and roller. Print head with eight vertically arranged needles. Loose colored tape on a roll. The paper is driven forward with friction feed. Detachable sheet feeder with tractor feed. The drive is via a gear that connects to another gear on the printer. Fixed power cord on the back. Two 25-pin D-sub and one 15-pin D-sub. Flat cable with connector. Set of 128 characters. Print with 132 characters per line, six lines per inch. Writing occurs in both directions.
