Description
English: A New Jersey Transit bi-level passenger train from the nearby Sunnyside Yard runs between the Arch Street Shops and the Hunterspoint Avenue Long Island Rail Road station in the Long Island City section of Queens, New York City . Sunnyside Yard is a massive railroad yard between Long Island City and Sunnyside which was originally used by the LIRR and it's former owner the Pennsylvania Railroad . In the post-PRR era, it was used by Penn Central Railroad , then Conrail , along side Amtrak , and eventually shared by New Jersey Transit.
