These are in a VHF GE MASTR II Receiver. These two helical resonator make up the filter on the local oscillator output. The parts shown represent the L306 and L307 coils that are tuned by the C306 and C307 "capacitors" which are actually discs on the end of a screw. Those parts cannot be seen here, as they are on the other end of the coil. The coupling coils are each a single turn, one on the Oscillator/Multiplier board, the other on the RF assembly, both of which were removed to take this photograph.
