Description Heath LNB-4 Parasol -This aircraft was one of the more successful attempts to put man into the air economically. The airplane was designed to be built by anyone with average mechanical skills. All you needed were pliers, screwdriver, hacksaw, hammer, drill, chisel, center punch, file and lots of enthusiasm. The $199 kit was produced in eleven progressive groups. For example, the wing ribs group cost $12.47. Plans alone were available for $5.00. The last of several hundred, it was sold in 1936.
