ABRAHAM HOPPER BUILT THE ORIGINAL PORTION IN 1739 AND THE REST WAS BUILT IN LATE 18TH CENTURY. STEPHEN GOETSCHIUS BOUGHT THE HOUSE IN 1813 AND HE WAS THE PASTOR OF THE OLD STONE CHURCH. THE HOUSE NOW BELONGS TO THE BOROUGH WHICH HAS MADE AN OPEN AIR MUSEUM BY THE IMPORTATION OF OTHER HISTORIC STRUCTURES
