Part 1 of a five part series whereby Swedish monarch Gustav Vasa shows how he triumphed. The images were originally made during the reign of Gustav Vasa -- the last image shows event occurring in the 1540's.
This image is believed to show Stockholm in 1525. The lady in yellow dress symbolizes the Catholic Church whom Gustav now overpowers.
