Description

Gustaf Komppa hoiti kemian professuuria (orgaaninen /epäorgaaninen kemia) vuoteen 1937. Lempinimi "Mestari" annettiin hänen taidostaan onnistua epätoivoisen tuntuisissa orgaanisissa synteeseissä. Kompan laboratorio tuhoutui käytännössä täysin talvisodan alkupommituksissa kaksi vuotta Kompan siirryttyä eläkkeelle.
