Gunung_Kinabalu_ketika_matahari_terbenam_dari_Mengkabong.jpg

Summary

Description
English: Why settle for the view of the famed mountain from the Mengkabong bridge when you can get both in one glance? I took the atypical drive out of Kota Kinabalu in high hopes of getting a stellar sunset show.

Luck was on my side today as after 4.45 pm, Mt. Kinabalu began clearing up behind clouds. However, I patiently waited an hour for the grand finale - Akinabalu bathed in orange setting-Sun rays. Visibility was good (near-zero of particulate matters) so the details stood out well.

Living in the bustle of the city, it can be easy to forget how beautifully located KK can be. This sight reinforces such a thought.
