Der Winzerhof bzw. das Presshaus stammt im Kern aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, wobei im 18. Jahrhundert und in der Folge Umbauten erfolgte. Um 2007 wurde der Heurigenbetrieb eingestellt und um 2010 kaufte der Staat Namibia das Areal und baute es um bzw. sanierte es zu einer „standesgemäßen“ Botschafter-Residenz. 2012 wurde der Platz vor dem Haus in Peter-Alexander-Platz umbenannt, daher ist die korrekte Adressangabe Peter-Alexander-Platz 1 und nicht mehr Cobenzlgasse Nr. 15 . |
