Grey_printing_blocks_during_2008_Summer_Olympics_opening_ceremony.jpg

Description
English: A digitally “painted” scroll unfurling Chinese history during the August 8th, 2008, Olympic Opening Ceremony is lifted to reveal these gray boxes, which represent printing blocks, that rearranged themselves to form the Chinese character for the word “harmony” before transforming into a replica of the Great Wall. Hidden inside the movable-type setting costumes are hundreds of Chinese dancers.
