Description
English: 1914 photo of 300 block of North Rampart Street, lake side, New Orleans, showing brick buildings and large smoke stack (of the Consumers Electric Company plant) painted with text advertisement "Gold Dust" (popular widely advertised washing powder of the era). Also visible are a horse (apparently hitched to a wagon or carriage out of frame) and automobile near the (river side) curb, a street light on pole; wall of building in distance at right has "Coca-Cola" ad painted on it.
