Das Triftwasser stürzt in vielen Kaskaden über die Felsstufe zur Schwemmebene am Südufer des natürlichen Triftsees, wo sich das Wildwasser in viele Wasserarme verzweigt. Beim Felsriegel zwischen Windegg und Drosiegg im Hintergrund ist eine Staumauer geplant, welche das wertvolle Seebecken zerstören wird.
