Summary

Description
English: Genome map of the mouse polyomavirus circular double-stranded DNA genome, around 5.3 kilobases in length. The early genes (expressed early in the infectious cycle in a host cell) are at right in blue, the late genes are at left in red, and the origin of replication is oriented at the top. The early genes comprise the large, middle, and small tumor antigen proteins, produced from a single messenger RNA transcript by alternative splicing as shown by thickened bars. The late genes comprise the viral capsid proteins.
