Summary

Description
English: Lind Point Fort aka Lind Point Battery on the NRHP since July 23, 1981. Located northwest of Cruz Bay in St. John, US Virgin Islands. Part of the Virgin Islands National Park MRA submission to the NRHP. The "fort" was built by the British during the Napoleonic Wars (Denmark, who controlled the islands before the wars, was on Napoleon's side) the UK which controlled the "British Virgin Islands", just north and east, used the battery platform to control Cruz Harbor. Just a rock wall here, perhaps 10 feet tall, in a semi-circle, with earth in fill, surrounded by tropical forest and scrub - hard to photograph anything meaningful.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America . Its reference number is 81000085 .
