Description Flag of the Vice President of the United States (1936–1948).svg | The first official Flag of the Vice President of the United States , defined by Executive Order 7285 in 1936. The design was the same as the 1916 President's flag, defined in Executive Order 2390 in 1916, except the colors were reversed -- instead of a mostly white eagle and stars on a blue background, the Vice President's flag was a mostly blue eagle and stars on a white background. The central element is a version of the Seal of the President of the United States. The flag was used until 1948. | |||||||
