Summary

Description

Before the intersection of I-75 (or even FL 84) and State Road 29, there was once the packing house and hamlet of Miles City near this area. A railroad between Everglades City which connected up to Lake Placid was created in the 1920s, but was dissolved after World War II. There are a few small communities and a few homes dotting this route, but it is mostly undeveloped.
