Vanceboro, NC, October 6, 2010 -- Floodwater remains in some areas as the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA) being conducted by FEMA, State, and County inspectors continue. Many areas in the state are reporting damage caused from heavy rains produced by Tropical Storm Nichole.
