Grave of Edward Livingston Taylor Jr. at Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio, in the United States. Taylor (1869-1938) was born in Columbus, graduated from the Columbus High School, and then studied law. He was admitted to the bar in 1891 and apppointed prosecuting attorney of Franklin County in 1899. A Republican, Taylor was elected to Congress in 1894. He served until 1912, losing reelection to Clement L. Brumbaugh. He returned to the practice of law, and died of throat and larynx cancer. |
