From the tomb of the three minor wives of Thutmose III in the Wady Gabbanat el-Qurud, Thebes. The decorative elements on these earrings were originally inlaid with dark blue and turquoise colored glass. Egyptians wore earrings from the beginning of the eighteenth century onward. |
