English: Drawing/rubbing of monumental brass of Wilmota Giffard (1540/1-1581), St Saviour's Church, Tor Mohun, Devon. She was the daughter and sole heiress of John Giffard of Yeo Vale in the parish of Alwington, Devon. She married as her second husband George Cary (1541-1616) of Cockington, in the parish of Tor Mohun, Lord Deputy of Ireland 1603-4. See:
