Description
English: Dean Ramsay Memorial Memorial in the form of a Celtic cross, raised by public subscription, to the memory of Dean Ramsay, author of 'Reminiscences Of Scottish Life And Character', who died in 1872. It stands in the grounds of St John's Scottish Episcopal Church at the west end of Princes Street. Ramsay was a respected philanthropist who helped found Trinity College, Glenalmond in Perth. His extremely popular book ran to twenty-two editions.
