Pennsylvania Park Police (Rangers) vehicle at Cowans Gap State Park, Fulton County near McConnellsburg, Pa. The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is the parent agency of State Parks division and State Forestry division. This vehicle type is used Statewide by Rangers. State Park Police have the powers to enforce State Parks Law, Vehicle Law and Crimes Code; They also enforce State Forestry, Fish, Boat, Environmental, Conservation, Game, Wildlife and Trapping Laws. They are First Responders for Park located Accidents, Fires and Medical calls. They can Patrol by Foot, Boat, ATV, Bicycle, Snowmobile, Horseback, 4X4 Truck and Car. State Wildlife Officers are employed by the Pa. Game Commission. State Fish Officers are employed by the Pa. Fish and Boat Commission.
