Description

This image shows Tropical Cyclone Isobel making landfall Australia in early January 2007. This image was captured by the MODIS instrument from NASA's Terra satellite at approximately 0155 UTC. At the time, Isobel still had wind speeds of 40 knots and a minumum central pressure of 986 hPa.
