English: Crouching Aphrodite. Marble, Roman variant of the Imperial Era after a Hellenistic type: the goddess is raising her left hand towards her neck whereas the prototype used to cross her arms on her breast.
Français : Aphrodite accroupie. Marbre, variante romaine de l'époque impériale d'après un thème hellénistique : la déesse lève le bras droit vers sa nuque alors que dans l'original, elle croisait les bras sur sa poitrine.
