Crop_Triangle_South_Africa.jpg

Summary

Description
English: This was taken in South Africa just as the new crops were sprouting after a very cold winter. The triangle was hidden between 3 different crop types. The crops are planted in circles for efficient irrigation, this method of irrigation is called center pivot irrigation. The tire track of the irrigation system is visible in the crops, it also forms perfect circles. This triangle is only visible from above.
