Conveyor_toaster.jpg

Summary

Description
English: A conveyor toaster is used in restaurants and institutions to prepare toast more quickly than a pop-up toaster. Bread is placed on the conveyor which slowly carries it past quartz halogen heating elements; the completed toast falls to the tray below. This model can make around 500 pieces per hour and uses 2800 watts. The heating elements (glow visible in picture) can be turned down when no bread is in the unit, saving energy.
