Summary

Description
English: Coat of arms of the "Duke of Weiden" in Hungary, from the 1438 manuscript known as Das Concilium buoch . This and other variants are reproduced in Tudor-Radu Tiron, "Începuturile stemei Transilvaniei în lumina mai multor izvoare ilustrate externe, din secolul al XV-lea până la începutul secolului al XVII-lea", in Anuarul Institutului de Istorie George Barițiu. Series Historica , Vol. L, 2011, pp. 307–339. Tiron proposes that the title and arms actually refer to the Voivodes of Transylvania.
