Description
English: The old Christchurch Girls High School, Cranmer Square. The crest over the main entrance on Armagh Street is of the Canterbury College and the inscription reads: "Ergo tua rura manebunt", meaning "therefore may your fields prosper". See the University of Canterbury website for more information. A restored version of the original, this crest was carved by Andrew Vann of East Coast Stone.
