Porta San Gallo costruita a cominciare dal 1284 e detta di San Gallo per la vicinanza d’una chiesa d’ugual titolo. Fu abbassata, trasformata per le cannoniere e coperta di tettoia nel 1526. Internamente la lunetta fu frescata da Michele di Ridolfo del Ghirlandaio. I portici laterali furono costrutti nel 1817 e demoliti nel 1866; le mensole esterne e i leoni, sotto baldacchino, rifatti.
