Summary
Description Captain Marvel trailer at the National Air and Space Museum 2.jpg |
English:
AFDW Airmen celebrated the U.S. Air Force 71st birthday by attending a special live screening of Captain Marvel at the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution, hosted by Good Morning America Sep. 18, 2018. When preparing for Captain Marvel, actress Brie Larson met with Brig. Gen. Jeannie Leavitt, the Air Force's first female fighter pilot, to research her character. As the first female character to headline a Marvel franchise, Capt. Carol Danvers exemplifies the barrier-breaking spirit found in every generation of Airmen going back to 1947.
