Summary
Description CSIRO ScienceImage 2315 Ranaviruses.jpg |
English:
Ranaviruses are pathogens of fish, amphibians and reptiles. They are of concern to commercial freshwater fisheries and cause infections in frogs and toads around the world. A transmission electron micrograph of a cell infected with ranaviruses is shown here. The virus has aggregated in the cytoplasm and in the assembly bodies next to the contorted nucleus. Image produced by Electron Microscopy Unit, Australian Animal Health Laboratory.
