Description
English: Boneseed bushes, You Yangs, Victoria. Boneseed is a pest species that is prevalent in south-eastern Australia. The You Yangs has a large infestation of some 2000ha. Boneseed is classified as a Weed of National Significance (WONS). Weeds of National Significance are regarded as the worst weeds in Australia because of their invasiveness, potential for spread, and economic and environmental impacts.
