Summary
Description CRISPR Cas system.png |
English:
CRISPR Cas12a (AsCpf1) system has been successfully harnessed for mammalian genome editing. AsCpf1 nuclease uses the single guide RNA to find a specific target sequence to introduce double-strand break. Then, the cell introduces a mutation at the site of the break through the repair mechanisms of damaged DNA.
