English: HORACE WILLIAMS HOUSE; 1854; HE WAS A PROFESSOR OF PHILOSOPHY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT CHAPEL HILL FROM 1890 TO 1940. THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST PROMINENT HOUSE IN THE DISTRICT AND HAS BROWN SIGNS DIRECTING VISITORS TO TGHE HOUSE. IT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
