Summary
Description Briarwood–Van Wyck td 54.jpg |
English:
An original IND mosaic near fare control at the center of the Jamaica-bound (eastbound) platform of the Briarwood (Briarwood–Van Wyck) subway station in Briarwood, Queens. The station was originally named Van Wyck Boulevard prior to the construction of the Van Wyck Expressway. Note that the lower nameplate, which probably read "QUEENS BLVD" has been covered up by a modern sign reading "BRIARWOOD". This bothers me.
