Summary

Description

An ironically named TND under construction by Bombardier, the aerospace giant, on the site of a former airport north of Montreal (but on the island). Note the public golf course, not interwoven with the houses as is common in the US, and the predominantly attached housing; it also has some charming street names. It's conveniently under the Dorval flight path. (July 2005)

Oddly, there are many airport-reuse TNDs out there, including Stapleton in Denver, Playa Vista in Los Angeles, North Richland Hills in Ft. Worth, Mueller in Austin, The Glen in Glenview, Ill., Baldwin Park in Orlando, and at least a sliver of El Toro in Tustin, Calif.
