Summary
Description Big Dry Creek (Westminster, Colorado).JPG |
English:
Big Dry Creek. This creek rises in Jefferson County, Colorado, passes through Jefferson, Adams, and Weld counties, and empties into the South Platte River near Fort Lupton, Colorado. (There is a second Big Dry Creek in the Denver Metropolitan area that rises in Douglas County and merges with the South Platte in Littleton, Colorado). This picture is taken in Westminster, on the eastern border of the Metzger Farm Open Space. The view is to the south (here the river flows north), and the bridge in the picture is West 120th Avenue.
