Summary
Description Bicycle multi-tool.JPG |
English:
A high resolution photo of a typical bicycle multi-tool. Such items have both flat and cross-head screwdrivers, a selection of hex wrenches, and a chain tool for breaking chains. A chain hook can be seen mounted to the side of the chain tool; this holds the two ends of a chain while a master link is fitted. The 5mm hex wrench is fitted with a removable cap. Other parts can reside in the body of the tool and the plastic side panels are used both as tire levers, and as a driver for the chain tool. Good quality examples are made from chrome vanadium steel, the best compromise for such hand tools.
