Description
English: Royal Chhatris of Orchha located near Kanchan Ghat on the banks of river Betwa, Madhya Pradesh, India, there are total 14 chhatris (cenotaph) are tombs in memory of the Bundela Kings and the other members of their dynasty, they have built on the spot where royals were cremated, they are of Vir Singh Deo, Madhukar Shah, Udait Singh, Jaswant Singh and others, each cenotaph is a little different in design, all are triple storied, four chambers make up a dome shaped covering surrounded by small cenotaphs resting on columns.
