Summary

Description Babs , powered by a 27 litre(!) V-12 Liberty engine. J. G. Parry-Thomas achieved 171mph in this aero-engined monster on Pendine Sands , Wales, in 1926. He was killed when a rear wheel failed and the car overturned. The wreckage was then buried where it lay, and only unearthed in 1969 by the car's current owner Owen Wyn Owen .
