NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland adds the Polish Infantry Fighting Vehicle, the Borsuk (Badger) to its arsenal for the Polish armed forces 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, stages for display during the unveiling ceremony in front of the Poland Deputy Prime Minister, Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense joined by U.S. Soldiers assigned to 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division (3-1 ABCT) operationally controlled by the 1st Infantry Division (1 ID), Polish armed forces 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, The Royal Lancers, Prince of Wales Troop, Romanian Sky Guardians, Croatian army Archer Battery, and the media in Bemowo Piskie, Poland, Nov. 14, 2022. The 3-1 ABCT is among other units assigned to the 1 ID, proudly working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America's forward deployed corps in Europe.
