Summary
Description Athenry station - geograph.org.uk - 1259237.jpg |
English:
Athenry station I am standing on the level crossing looking north-east. The train is a Galway to Dublin service, that has just passed over the level crossing and is waiting in Athenry station. It is heading away from us but because it does not have to pass another train, and the single line either end of the station is on the right hand side it is using the right hand platform. There will no doubt be considerable operating changes when the Limerick, Athenry to Galway service resumes in 2010, when the train will have to reverse here.
