Summary
Description Asunción tram (ex-Brussels 9003) on Calle M Estigarribia in 1986.jpg |
English:
Tramcar 9003 of the
Asunción, Paraguay
, tram system (ex-Brussels, Belgium 9003) running northwestwards on Calle Mariscal Estigarribia just southeast of Calle Yegros in April 1986, on route 5, the only tram line in operation at that time. This street changes name to Calle Palma one block to the northwest of this location. The Asunción tram system closed for regular service around 1995, but the company very intermittently ran tram charters (private-hire excursions) until 1997, when all operation ended permanently.
