Description Aryabhata Satellite.jpg	English: Aryabhata was India's first satellite and was designed for studies of X-ray astronomy, aeronomics and solar physics. Unfortunately, a power failure halted experiments after 4 days in orbit, and all signals from the spacecraft were lost after 5 days of operation.
