Nef dite "raimondine", car bâtie en grande partie sous ordre du comte Toulouse Raymond VI († 1222), de la cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Toulouse. Elle se base sur les fondations de l’ancienne cathédrale romane tout en portant des prémices d’art gothique. Sa particularité est d’être d’un volume bien inférieur et d’être décalée par rapport au chœur gothique.
