The view of the outer bailey and the constructions on its northern edge, seen from the rock at the foot of the bastion defending the inner fortress (or keep).
One of a series of pictures taken during a visit from end to end. The location is imported later, and only at some pictures, I use the centre of a picture as the spot to locate, and not the spot where a picture was taken (the more usual method). Descriptions are based on sources such as: ‘Guides Bleus: Turquie’ – Edition 1986 , ‘Guide Fodor: Turquie’ - Edition 1988 & Personal Visits (by a correspondent of the author in 1985-1999).
