The Pramatheshwar Mahadeb Jew temple is situated at Marnai village of Itahar block under Raiganj sub-division of Uttar Dinajpur district. The south facing temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It was established in 1920 A.D. by zamindar Sashibhusan Pal, the then local landlord. It is a flat roofed temple with a five pinnacled structure above it.
Though the exploration was mainly on Dakshin Dinajpur some parts of Uttar Dinajpur was covered too.
