(BuNo 135422) at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida (USA). The photo must have been taken before 1955, when light gray ("gull gray") for tops and sides and white for undersides became standard camouflage for all U.S. Navy combat aircraft. This aircraft was lost in an accident while in service with the training squadron (fleet replacement squadron) VAH-3
